 Gita Omri showed her 3rd solo collection during NYFW in a gallery in Chelsea to an enthusiastic crowd of onlookers from all walks of fashion. The audience celebrated not only the clothing being shown, but Gita's commitment to diversity in casting, sizing, and age. Gita has been lauded in the past for being the hallmark of what diversity can and should look like on the runway. This season, Gita, a native of Israel now living in America, took inspiration from her emotional response to the war in Gaza. She incorporated many details from her military uniforms into her collection and contrasted those strong lines and forms with the soft, free, peace loving spirit of the Israeli people to create a collection that was inspired, fashion forward, and trend right for all women, everyday.
